Criteria: The movies were ranked according to their influence, their initial and lasting popularity, as well as their initial and lasting acclaim. Most lists rank the director's ten greatest films, while some directors with a particularly small filmography only have five films listed. Feature films, TV films, documentaries, short films, experimental films, essay films, TV miniseries and TV series that were created mainly by the director in question were all eligible.

Though we can't really assess any influence for Oppenheimer yet, I think I could see it at #2 or #3. Both its commercial success and acclaim were quite exceptional.

Also, I think Interstellar might be greater than Dunkirk. Just my impression, could be wrong.

I'd agree with Interstellar > Dunkirk and I'd have TWoWS > The Irishman as well.

Apologies - I misunderstood you were doing one page at a time. A few thoughts:

-Woody Allen: I'm like 99% sure Tim did an update for him about 1-2 years ago (Midnight in Paris should probably be around #5-6 for sure)

-Almadovor: I'd consider "Parallel Mothers" towards the end of the list.

-Wes Anderson: Unless you all think Bottle Rocket is influential or something (which I do not), I'd consider French Dispatch above it.

Both seem reasonable, but it would mean a complete overhaul of the 2010's list.

Also, I think Interstellar might be greater than Dunkirk. Just my impression, could be wrong.
Oppenheimer THAT high is a little bit of a stretch to me - but if it were to be placed above Memento that means it automatically should be on the Top 500 list at this point then.

I wouldn't be against that.

The only thing Oppenheimer has over Memento at this point is popularity.

It's all good. I would indeed prefer doing the pages one after the other because I don't have much spare time and can't just look an entire list inbetween. But nothing hinders you from posting ideas for updates in advance.

I'm grateful for the feedback though. My thoughts:

Re: "Midnight in Paris": That would correspond with its rank on the decade list. Since the 2010s seem to have been viewed as the weakest decade this side of the 2020s and the pre-1920s when we did the all-time list, I decided to move it down a lot, maybe too much. Yet, it's also only the 24th-highest Allen film on the TSPDT all-time list and its ratings on RYM also show a decidedly higher appreciation for his older films. Overall, I'd say its acclaim is not quite on par with that of any of the other films I listed. It probably beats most if not all of them in popularity though so I'm not opposed to adding it where you suggested.

Re: "Parallel Mothers": Yes, I could see that as high as #9. Would you then add "Julieta" (at #10), too? Its credentials are overall rather similar.

Re: "Bottle Rocket": Again no objections to your suggestion. Bottle Rocket was the feature debut for Anderson and the Wilson brothers and a minor breakthrough for the three of them but other than that there's not much influence as I see it.
