Think this breakdown slightly favors Gentlemen Prefer Blondes even though Sergeant York is ranked higher on the 1940s list (#65) than Gentlemen Prefer Blondes on the 1950s list (#87).

How so? With acclaim going to SY, popularity about a draw and influence going to GPB, this seems to be a toss-up. I'm ok with giving the edge to GPB though if we think the influence win is bigger than the acclaim one.

I'd say the influence win is larger than the win in acclaim.
