I don't really agree with Ice Cube losing musical impact to Chicago, they may have been acclaimed instrumentalists but he's one of hip-hop's top MCs/lyricists. (not that musical impact comes down to instrumental prowess only). I would def give him acclaim portion of criteria and he's overall much more influential figure than Chicago though most of his influence should be credited to NWA rather than his solo career. Not really opposed to Motörhead and Hayes moving up though Steely Dan I'd say are more acclaimed than Hayes as a recording artist.

Beck & Waits acclaim beasts with some influence within alt rock/on singer-songwriters and in Beck's case, decent amount of success. MC5 legends live, huge influence on punk, Kick Out the Jams a classic.

Rascals highly succesful (& well-respected) 60s rock/soul band. Marvelettes one of the earliest Motown successes, large influence on girl groups, Motown or otherwise, Please Mr. Postman still a legendary track. Tex leading artist in Southern soul, cited as a precursor to rap even. Shadows legends of instrumental rock & British rock music in general, came to prominience as Cliff Richard's backing back but rather clearly surpassed him in terms of influence, Hank Marvin idolized by generation of British guitarists.

Tina Turner huge popularity worldwide during the 1980s, legendary raspy voice but her influence and acclaim rather comes from her Ike & Tina days. Robbie Williams popularity beast (in UK especially) but rather notoriously lacking in US popularity. Gloria Estefan pre-dated a Latin pop boom of the 1990s - 2000s with significant success in the 1980s.
